Welcome to The Porter School Library & Resource Center (PSLRC).   

The Porter School Library & Resource Center (PSLRC) is an independent, non-profit lending library offering books, publications, resource material, computer access, and other community based services to benefit the residents in the Village of Alpha and Mastodon Township, and surrounding areas of Iron County, MI.  

The Business Resource Center of the Porter School Library holds a collection of print business reference, online resources, provides small business counseling services and educational/business seminars to assistant residents who wish to further business opportunities. 

The PSLRC provides and promotes open and equal access to the resources and services of the library in order to meet the informational, educational, and cultural needs of the community.  The library encourages reading and the use of current technology for life-long learning and the enhancement of the individual's quality of life.

The PSLRC is located in the historic Porter School Market Place in Alpha, MI.  www.porterschoolmarketplace.com. 

Hours:  Saturday 9:00am - 2:00pm & Sunday 9:00am - 1:00pm
